CoreBrand, the branding firm whose proprietary quantitative model (BrandPower™) helps to guide company communications efforts and is predictive of revenue and equity valuation, has hired Lou Rubin as chief marketing officer.
“We are delighted to have Lou join us”, says Jim Gregory, CoreBrand CEO, “Lou brings a unique perspective to marketing our proprietary model and branding services, having served as both a brand consultant and marketer on behalf of some of the worlds most successful companies”. He added, “Lou has been instrumental in shaping marketing programs for companies like Doremus, Omnicom’s premier corporate communications firm, as well as helping world- class companies like United Technologies, ITT, Honeywell and others define their brand and marketing approach.”
Added Rubin, “CoreBrand is the only branding firm with a proven quantitative model that allows companies to both determine and then measure the impact of their marketing communications efforts on market capitalization. In an environment where accountability and measurement are an essential component of marketing decision making, CoreBrand’s approach is an invaluable tool to marketing professionals and the C-suite executive.”
Rubin is a classically trained marketing executive, having worked as a brand manager at Kraft General Foods and for clients like Colgate-Palmolive, Johnson and Johnson, and Shulton. He spent a dozen years within the Omnicom Group working on corporate business-to-business clients and recently had his own strategy and brand-consulting firm.
As CoreBrand CMO he will oversee all external and internal marketing efforts as well as lending his expertise and knowledge in client-related marketing efforts.
